This award-winning program features approximately 150 in-line stores, restaurants, and services, plus almost 30 specialty retail units. A highlight of the retail development is the newest addition of the D-E Connector. The D-E connector includes 10 new vendors: Borders Books, Taxco Sterling, InMotion Entertainment, Lids/Lids Kids, Peet's Coffee, Vino Volo, Crocs, Sunglass Hut, Brookstone, and Tech Showcase. The D-E Connector has added over 7,100 square footage of retail space to the Marketplace.
Philadelphia International Airport welcomes over 30.7 million annual passengers and employs over 20,000 employees. With traffic rising, there are always retail and food & beverage opportunities at the airport. Air travelers have strong consumer demographics and a proven track record as valuable customers.
Marketplace Development is always looking for new and innovative concepts to add to the existing retail mix. The Food & Shops at Philadelphia International Airport has provided dozens of new business opportunities for store and restaurant operators on both the national and local levels. More opportunities continue to arrive for both permanent, in-line merchants and for more temporary specialty operations.
